This super cool 1959 Redfish Shark is pretty rare but it's even more rare because it includes the optional removable hardtop and is the top of the line six passenger three seat model. Comes with a vintage trailer and it pulls great. Just brought it up from Virginia to Indiana on this trailer. It took me five years to find this boat but I'm project heavy right now and offering a few things up for sale in different places. It's a one time deal though, so if for some odd reason it doesn't sell, you won't see it for sale again. Like the saying goes "The time to buy something really rare is when you find it". This boat has a nice hull and nice transom but will need restored. I got a quote from King of Clean Boats here in Indy for $1500 to regelcoat the boat. Upholstery is $500. Then add your outboard. The only other restored Redfish I've seen with a hardtop was for sale for $10,500 so I suspect you can come out WAY ahead on this one as an investment....but with fins like these, you won't wanna sell it. It's the goods. SUNDAY UPDATE....wow! I just logged on today and have about thirty requests for additional pictures. Sorry I didn't include more. I'll pull the boat out tomorrow (it's in the garage) and take pictures for everyone. Sorry for the delay. Thanks. MONDAY UPDATE...I'm getting ready to post additional pictures now. I've gotten more questions than I've had time to answer. Probably about 50 questions so far and over 100 people "watching" the auction. I'll try to answer what appear to be the most popular questions. The hull and transom are very nice with no repairs seeming to be needed. The boat is basically a nice bare hull and super rare hardtop. Someone started to paint one side of the hull at one point and never finished.. The seat bases are molded into the hull in fiberglass and in nice condition. They get plywood seat cushion bases covered by fabric. Easy to do. The windshield is not damaged. I do have some extra hardware like a cool space age looking vintage bow light and a few misc things that go with the boat. The boat came from a state that didn't require titles on boats so I had a police inspection done and cleared here and then applied for the Indiana I'm waiting on the title to come back from the State of Indiana, which should be any time now. It usually takes two weeks or less. The boat does not have a motor or controls, just a wheel. The trailer pulls nicely and just made a several hundred mile trip. I can recommend the shipper that hauled the boat for me if you need one. This boat is also for sale locally and I will end the auction if the auction has no bids and I get a suitable offer.
